Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan smoothly undertakes 42 types of philanthropic activities. The volunteers involved in it devote them self with a feeling that service is the prime aim of life. The sincere, duty- conscious, dedicated volunteers engrossed in rendering service without expecting anything, truly deserve the lion's share in this noble mission. Even women also contribute in this charity. All the minor or major work is done by volunteers in Sansthan's all departments. There is perfect system for this. Volunteers come from several villages group wise and they are divided for different service. The credit for all time cleanliness in Mandir premises exclusively goes to the dedicated volunteers.
One may have a doubt - what do these volunteers expect? Answer is - a coconut as a Prasad. Once their work is over, they humbly feel honored to accept the coconut as Prasad and return to their village
In Sansthan no volunteer works for any benefit. But the volunteers in Shegaon Sansthan are the perfect synonyms of dedication and service to humanity as a whole.They set an example that a meaningful and dedicated life can be led as an ideal member of the universe.
The dedicated volunteers having great concern, affection, awareness and respect for Sansthan literally hold us spellbound.
Presently Sansthan has 17,000 volunteers in 345 groups from 318 villages. 20 groups and 50 villages are in a queue, eagerly waiting to render service.
The rules for volunteer groups (to eligible for performing service as volunteer):
- Volunteers should send a request letter.
- He should furnish the residential proof of his village.
- He should have a character certificate from Police Patil.
- The age group for volunteer - 21 to 40 years.
- He should have the interest in religious matters and he must not be addicted to any wrong habits.
